Bamsters, what are they exactly? They're small, hamster sized bears of course! What other kinds of mischief could they possibly get into, and just how can they be incorporated into your every day life? Well, other than being adorable, cuddly fuzzballs, the answer is through jewelry of course!

Bamsters are experts at keeping you company. You can wear them on your shirts and jackets as pins, or if you want to have a little helper why not as a ring on your finger? One thing to always remember is this: Bamsters love to have fun!

When I first began this project, I knew that I wanted to feature Bamsters. They were these adorable concepts that I came up with last semester, that soon evolved into something quite large despite their small scale. The problem was, how? I would love for Bamsters to become something more involving things other than jewelry, like t-shirts, postcards, keychains, and so forth. And so, the website began. I originally started with a website that catered to what would be a range of teen to young adult. I focused on trying to create new items like shirts, mugs, and blankets- while still featuring my Bamster pins.

While I continued to create more and more bamsters, and even to the point where I finally decided on mascots, I felt a little lost. While web design is not my strongest, I continued to push forward. Through the help of my professor and my classmates, I was able to come to a solid template from where I originally started. The first two images are my first concepts, the second and third are my transitioning from all work to focusing on my jewelry, and the final image is my current new* and final four pages for my Bamsters website.

Bamsters! was a project that when I first started I had a very spread out direction. I'm very happy with how my final pages came to being. You can check it out here! Just click on the iPad and see how it works.
