There are so many moments in time that everyone has, just what exactly are the most important ones to remember? This project focused on time, and just what exactly happens in a Moment in Time. There were endless possibilities, but I chose to focus on moments I've found the funniest, and when I feel happiest. For me, it's small moments with friends that I have that stick with me forever.
For this animation, I knew that I wanted to work on movements like hand gestures and animating full sentences. Gestures like a shrug with a phrase “sure” right after was something that would take more than just one layer. It was a challenge, and very fun.
For the second image below, I wanted to work on several things. I wanted to work on movement, fluid walking, opening a door, getting into a car, and finally the perspective of being outside versus in.
Lastly, I wanted to work on three different views throughout the entire animation. The first was being outside of the car, the second being inside, and the last having a small side point of view moment. I made sure that things matched up accordingly- like where the seats in the car were, the seatbelt, the windows even.
Although this was one of the shortest animations I have done, it was very rewarding for me.
This animation consists of a total of 64 layered frames.
