When our generation would pass, what would remain to be found? What defined our generation exactly, anyways? A prompt like that really sparked some interesting thought- and myself and my partner were ready for the challenge!

Intended for the Smithsonian Museum, my partner, Emily Pellini and I felt we chose the perfect specimen. Upon our teacher's desk there was a chameleon and fly tape dispenser. We immediately knew that's what we wanted to do.

From our sketches, we decided to divide up the work. Emily P. took to the linework. We used her original sketch and turned that into our main piece. From her sketchbook and line work, I took to adding base colors, shading, and overall texture to the final poster. We wanted it to be like an archaeological find where we included notes of what we believed this rare specimen was at once time.
